Abstract:
This working paper attempts to highlight the economic potentials of Alexandria. Specifically, it assesses the economic sectors therein, which is a prerequisite to prepare a sound development strategy to advance the governorate and place it in the position it deserves. Following a detailed presentation of the methodology, the study consists of four sections: The first section assesses the manufacturing sector and analyzes its sub-activities. While section II focuses on the city of Borg El Arab, the third section evaluates the tourism sector in the governorate, and finally, the last section analyzes the logistics sector.
