Traditionally, technology transfer flows from the Global North to the South, facilitated by greater access to capital, finance, and technological capabilities in the North. However, technology and knowledge transfer within the Global South remains under-explored despite its potential to leverage region-specific innovations that align with local environmental and societal contexts.
