It also plays a role in job creation, reduction of unemployment and securing jobs for the coming generations. Since international experiences offer lessons that we can benefit from, this working paper explores the industrial policies of several countries, including Korea, Vietnam, China and the United States. The study also examines the industrial policy in Egypt with a focus on the institutional and legal aspects.
