The Egyptian Stock Exchange is facing multiple problems related to direct investment, and lack of incentives for listing companies, which caused a drop in daily trading and in the number of listed companies as well as a decline in the market value of these companies as a percentage of GDP, weakening the capital market in Egypt as a whole.
