Background:
The USTR launched Section 301 investigations into more than 60 countries that are both allies and rivals of the United States are targeted, allegedly failing to prohibit or enforce bans on imports of goods produced by child or forced labor, including Canada, Mexico, the EU, China, Russia, Egypt, South Africa, and Türkiye.
