Issue 67 (April – June 2023)

This report presents a periodic assessment carried out by the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies of a sample of 120 private sector firms covering various sectors and sizes. The assessment reflects the opinion of the business community regarding developments in a set of variables namely: production, domestic sales, exports, inventory, level of capacity utilization, prices, wages, employment, and investment, during the quarter April-June 2023 and expectations for the quarter July -September 2023, focusing on key macroeconomic developments.
