Issue 66 (January – March 2023)

This report presents a periodic assessment carried out by the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies of a sample of 120 private sector firms covering various sectors and sizes. The assessment reflects the opinion of the business community regarding developments in a set of variables namely: production, domestic sales, exports, inventory, level of capacity utilization, prices, wages, employment, and investment, during the quarter January-March 2023 and expectations for the quarter April -June 2023, focusing on key macroeconomic developments.
