This edition of Business Barometer offers a periodic evaluation conducted by the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies of a sample of 120 private sector firms covering various sectors and sizes. The survey reflects the views of the business community regarding developments across several variables, specifically: Production, domestic sales and exports, inventory, level of capacity utilization, prices, wages, employment, and investment; during the quarter April – June 2022 and its outlook for the quarter July – September 2022, along with a comparison of results with the previous quarter (January – March 2022) and the corresponding quarter (April – June 2021). The following is a brief on the key results of the report for the quarter under review (April – June 2022)
